The Mahavitaran Consumer App, developed by M.S.E.D.C.L. (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited), allows consumers to easily access and utilize the various services provided by Mahavitaran. This user-friendly app offers transparent service delivery for consumers.

Features include:

• Viewing and payment of bills
• Registration and tracking of complaints
• Access to bill and payment history
• Management of multiple electricity connections
• Reach out to the 24x7 MSEDCL Call Center
• Application for new connections
• Status tracking of new connection applications and payment of estimate charges
• Submission of meter readings to avoid average billing
• Providing feedback about Mahavitaran's services
• Updating contact details (mobile number and email ID)
• Finding nearby MSEDCL offices and collection centers
• Estimating monthly electricity consumption and bill amounts
• Obtaining information about the feeder supplying power to your connection
• Requesting a change of name

The functional capabilities of the mobile app are as follows:

1. Applying for a new connection in just four simple steps
2. Tracking the progress of a new connection request using a unique Application ID and paying estimate charges
3. Submitting meter readings and photos to avoid average billing, with reminders sent by Mahavitaran if meter readings are not available from the meter reader
4. Providing ratings for Mahavitaran's services on a scale of 1 to 5
5. Viewing and paying electricity bills using various payment options, including net banking, debit cards, credit cards, cash cards, mobile wallets, and Paytm
6. Updating contact details such as mobile number, email ID, and AadharCard number
7. Registering and tracking complaints related to power failures and billing
8. Accessing the history of electricity bills and payments
9. Managing multiple electricity connections from a registered account
10. 24/7 access to the MSEDCL Call Center for customer support
11. Finding nearby MSEDCL offices and collection centers
12. Estimating electricity consumption in kWh by providing appliance usage details and obtaining an approximate monthly bill amount based on the estimate
13. Gaining information about feeders supplying power to consumers, including technical details and planned outages
